Love Island is back! Host Caroline Flack talks to us about the show - and her own love life

Fancy a summer fling? You’re not the only ones! We’re ecstatic that Love Island is back on our screens.

Ten years on and the sexiest show on TV has returned to ITV2 with 14 gorgeous single girls and boys all dreaming of finding true love… Or just a saucy spot of holiday romance. Or a one night thing. Oh, and the £50,000 prize money!

The ‘islanders’ are living the dream in a mega mansion in sunny Mallorca, Spain, for six weeks with only themselves, the biggest private pool in the whole of the Balearics and a free bar for company. Now bagged an invite to the exclusive multi-million pound Love Island villa to meet all of the gang, including the most popular lady on telly, Love Island host, Caroline Flack.

Here Flackers spills all the gory goss on what saucy goings on will be going down during this summer of love…

Caroline, how excited are you about the show?
It’s going to be so good. I watched the first Love Island and absolutely loved it. The best bit ever was when Bombhead from Hollyoaks had a big breakdown. You can’t find it anywhere on YouTube! If you Google it it isn’t on there. He might have had it taken off.

So could you see yourself falling in love with any of the Islanders?
Oh no! I don’t think so… Strictly professional, I’ll be there with a shoulder to cry on if they need it and that’s as far down as they can go! (Laughs). So, no! I’m not really into muscly men to be fair and there’s a lot on the show.

A few of the boys say that you’re their celebrity crush…
Oh god. What have I let myself in for? Oh well, there’s still hope yet!

What is your type?
Less muscly! I dunno. I don’t have a type but when I take my boyfriends home to my mum she says: ‘Looks the same as the last one!’ I’m like: ‘He doesn’t!’

Are you seeing anyone special at the moment?
No.

Are you open to meeting someone out here?
Yeah… Maybe! I dunno. I might go down Magaluf, see what’s going on!

Are you on Tinder?
No, I don’t think I would ever go on them because I’m quite old fashioned. I like the conversation and talking to people and meeting people that way. It happens organically. Some of my friends are on Tinder and they love it, then they hate it… My friends are always deleting it and reloading it.

Have you ever had a sneaky look on theirs?
Yeah, I do all the time. It’s really good! You can’t tell what someone’s like though. One of my friends met someone online on My Single Friend and now she’s married to the man and they have kids, so it does work. If you haven’t got time to go out it’s a great way to meet people.

Have you ever had a holiday romance?
Yes, I met my last boyfriend (Jack Street) on holiday.

What advice would you give the Islanders?
Probably don’t go out with them afterwards! It didn’t work out for me, so I’d say leave the romance on holiday! I’m quite good at giving advice but I’m not good at taking my own advice. Would you take love advice from me? (Laughs). ‘Guys! What you should do is wait until your mid thirties and THEN try and find someone. And then get a cat.’

Who’s looking after your cat while you’re away?
He’s gone to my sister’s who’s got three kids that just pull his ears! They chase him and when he comes back to mine after he’s been at my sister’s he just sleeps for 48 hours. He’s what I miss most. That’s embarrassing isn’t it. I FaceTime my cat – he loves it.

Seriously though, what is your top love tip?
If your friend breaks up with someone just let her talk. Agree with everything she says and just listen, because she’s going to get back with him!

If you weren’t hosting Love Island would you like to be on it?
No, definitely not. I’d be really boring and I wouldn’t want to kiss anyone on camera and that’s what it’s about – coming here to find love. So no, definitely not!

How will you feel if they have sex on camera?
Well we’re going to have to watch it as it’s part of the show so I think that’s going to be quite weird. There’s going to be duvets though, I don’t think we’ll be seeing full on close-ups!

Won’t you feel embarrassed asking them about it all afterwards?
No, that’s what girls do! We all talk about sex afterwards! ‘What happened? How far did you go?’

Do you like it when people matchmake you with guys?
People do it a lot, especially when you’re single. People always invite their ‘single friend’ and when you get to a party you eye each other up and think, ‘bloody hell.’

You’re so busy at the moment, so how do you make time for your own love life?
You always make time don’t you? You just do, you find time for it – if I had one!

You said that you were asked to wear a bikini for the show but you said no. Why?
I wouldn’t want to be in a bikini on TV. That would be the worst feeling ever!

Have you been going to the gym to get ready for the summer?
No, I always think about that when I actually get on holiday and think, ‘Oh, I should have gone to the gym!’ I think I could be healthier and in better shape if I changed my lifestyle but I just think I have too much fun not changing my lifestyle. And it is a lifestyle change to be that fit all of the time. I do feel better when I exercise, but I’m not a lazy slob, I do like to go out. If it was a choice between the gym and sitting by the pool drinking rose, I’d go and drink the rose.

You’re filming in a beautiful location. Have you managed to have any time off to enjoy the sun?
The week before we started filming I did but now I’m travelling back and forth to film The X Factor. It’s not too much travelling, only two hours. It’s just like travelling across London!

Is it true you’re writing an autobiography soon?
Yeah… It might not be an autobiography though, it might be different. I’m not doing a coffee table book, but I will be writing. I won’t be dishing the dirt though it will be all happy stuff. I used to keep a diary, it’s really nice to read our old diaries – me and my sister had one and we had the key for each other’s so we’d read each other’s. She was really from the heart like, ‘Dear Diary today was wonderful…,’ she’d write so detailed about her day and then I’d be like, ‘I hate mum!’ That was our lives. (Laughs).

Now’s GossipCam bagged an exclusive invite to check out the seriously cool, multi-million pound love pad before it hits our screens on ITV2 on Sunday

Ten years after the last series, Love Island – the sexiest show on TV – is back on ITV2 with 12 gorgeous single girls and boys all looking for true lurve.

The ‘islanders’ are living the dream in a mega mansion in sunny Mallorca, Spain, for six weeks with only themselves, the biggest private pool in the Balearics and a free bar for company.

Now’s GossipCam was invited to check out the seriously cool, multi-million pound love pad. And we can confirm everything is definitely bigger and better on Love Island!

Now’s Showbiz Content Editor Amy Brookbanks snooped around the communal bedroom, discovered a box of branded Love Island condoms in the bathroom and even had a go in the (huge) shower – which had no doors. Privacy? Erm, no not on Love Island…

There’s an outdoor kitchen and bar area where the gang can hang out – or flirt – all day and night and there’s even two giant beds if they fancy a lie down, or sneaky afternoon snooze by the pool. Ahem…

We’re not going to spoil it for you, but there’s a heap of top secret surprises in there too!

We even bumped into Love Island’s host, Caroline Flack who was chilling by the pool with a glass of Sangria, and she told us if the islanders have sex then she’ll be there watching! Yikes.

‘Well we’re going to have to watch it as it’s part of the show so I think that’s going to be quite weird. There’s going to be duvets though, I don’t think we’ll be seeing full on close ups!’ said Caroline. ‘I’ll be asking them all about it afterwards, that’s what girls do…”What happened?! How far did you go?!”‘

Crikey… well, with only six bedrooms and 12 contestants, no door on the shower and a box of condoms in the bathroom, we can only imagine the islanders will be getting to know each other very well over the next six weeks!

Joining Caroline for a summer of fun is Rachel Christie, 26, a former athlete and model and ex of David McIntosh, Lauren Richardson, 26, who was THAT girl pictured with Zayn Malik days before he quit One Direction, Zoe Basia Brown, 24, a model, Hannah Elizabeth, 25, a Playboy Bunny and good friend of Joey Essex, Danielle Pyne, 23 who works in a London club, Jessica Hayes, 22, a glamour model, Jordan Ring, 31, Luis Morrison, 20, Jon Clark, 25, from Essex who rates himself a 10/10 with the ladies, Joshua Ritchie, 20, who looks like Joey Essex and Chris Williamson, 27 who’s friends with Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison.

Dust off your hats because ding-dong the bells are going to chime! Dan Osborne and Jacqueline Jossa are getting hitched!

Now can exclusively reveal that Dan Osborne and Jacqueline Jossa are engaged!

The former TOWIE star proposed to his EastEnders actress girlfriend on Monday 15 June in Greece where they have been on their first family holiday together with their newborn baby daughter, Ella.

Dan, 23, who got down on bended knee in front of 40 of Jacqueline’s friends and family on the last day of their trip where they had been celebrating the wedding of Jac’s older sister Katrina, is said to be ‘absolutely ecstatic’ to be marrying the ‘girl of his dreams.’

A close friend of Dan’s confirmed the happy news to Now, saying: ‘Yes, it’s true. Dan and Jacqueline are engaged and they’re both over the moon. Dan has been planning this special moment for months, Jacqueline is the girl of his dreams and he can’t believe what a lucky man he is. They will marry next year.’

Dan hinted to Now 12 months ago that Jacqueline, 22, was ‘the one,’ in an exclusive interview, saying: ‘Who knows? She’s absolutely incredible. Watch this space! I respect her a lot. I like the girl, so I don’t want to ruin it.’

The happy couple, who recently became parents to three-month-old baby girl Ella, have been dating for two years. They first sparked rumours of a romance when they were spotted together leaving an awards ceremony in November 2013, but after it emerged Dan was expecting a baby with his ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin, the couple were rumoured to have split and Dan welcomed son Teddy in December. In June, Dan and Jacqueline rekindled their romance, keeping fans up to date with pictures on Instagram and Twitter, Jacqueline admitted on Twitter that Dan was her ‘best friend and always will be,’ and then in August they announced they were expecting a baby.

Last month Dan broke down in tears twice during another exclusive interview with us, when asked if he feared Jacqueline would leave him when shocking tapes emerged of him verbally abusing and threatening to stab ex-girlfriend Megan, he told Now: ‘More than anything, I’m sorry to Jacqueline. She’s put up with so much but supported me through everything. I’ll spend the rest of my life making it up to her.’

We’re thrilled Dan and Jacqueline finally get their happy ending. Congratulations! We couldn’t be happier for you, Teddy and Ella.

Bizarrely, it appears to be a formula that works. Hunky reality TV star meets top actress, falls in love and lives happily ever after.

Just like his Essex boy counterpart Mark Wright, who recently married actress Michelle Keegan, Dan Osborne has bagged himself one of TV’s biggest and most beautiful young stars, 22-year-old soap pin-up Jacqueline Jossa, aka Lauren Branning from EastEnders.

Not bad for a ‘nobody’ from Essex who found fame on a hit reality TV show (thanks to his bulging biceps, collection of tattoos and a six-pack you could grate cheese on). But maybe that’s why it works? They’re both really successful in their own right and not competing for each other’s airtime. And despite being popular celebrities, both Dan and Jac are two of the most lovely, down-to-earth celebs I’ve met in my ten years as a journalist, who would much rather spend a night in front of the telly in their pj’s than at a boozy showbiz party. A mean feat for anyone with access to a free bar every night!

Yesterday, in a Now world exclusive, we revealed how at the end of their first family holiday in Greece, Dan popped the question and Jacqueline said ‘Yes.’

A source confirmed to Now that: ‘Yes, it’s true. Dan and Jacqueline are engaged and they’re both over the moon. Dan has been planning this special moment for months, Jacqueline is the girl of his dreams and he can’t believe what a lucky man he is. They will marry next year.’

And then a couple of hours later the happy couple confirmed the news to their fans, with Dan Tweeting…

And I couldn’t be happier for them both.

I’ve known Dan for two years ever since he first joined the cast of The Only Way Is Essex and we met when I did his first ever interview in a hotel in Marbella.

Shy, unassuming and ahem… drop-dead gorgeous, Dan was like a breath of fresh air in the stagnant showbiz world. I could tell that he couldn’t believe his luck. He seemed almost bemused that he’d been plucked from obscurity – one minute he was working in a tattoo parlour in Essex and the next he was sitting in a plush hotel in Marbella talking to some journalist about which of the TOWIE girls he fancied most.

He didn’t have any celebrity friends, let alone a famous partner, and suddenly he was on one of ITV’s biggest shows being paid to take his top off and enjoy the perks of being a single man on TV. So obviously Dan did what any normal bloke with a license to thrill would do – kissed as many girls as he could and fast became one of the UK’s hottest hunks.

First he set his sights on former TOWIE sex-bomb Lucy Mecklenburgh, who was parading around in that white bikini trying to make her ex, Mario Falcone, jealous. And yes, he did…

There was a kiss with his friend Jasmin Walia on his first night in Marbs, who was left devastated when Dan told her he just wanted to stay friends, then he enjoyed a brief fling on TV with Lucy, until he discovered that back home in the real world, his ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin, was pregnant with his son, Teddy, now 17 months old. But behind-the-scenes Dan had secretly already met his now-fiance, Jacqueline, and love was quietly blossoming. After he met Jac, he never looked back…

Last year during an interview with me in May, after dating for just seven months, Dan already knew Jacqueline was ‘the one,’ admitting: ‘She’s absolutely incredible. Watch this space! I respect her a lot. I like the girl, so I don’t want to ruin it.’

His eyes would light up when he spoke about her and the mere mention of her name would bring an instant smile to his face, Dan was positively beaming with love and the pair became inseparable. Dan quit partying with pals, preferring to stay indoors with Jacqueline and his son Teddy, and it wasn’t long before the couple moved in together and started a family of their own, welcoming baby Ella to the world just three months ago.

Dan’s always been a family man, so it was devastating to see him so distraught when he was accused of being a thug when shocking tapes emerged of him verbally abusing his ex. Two months ago, Dan broke down in tears to me twice when I asked him if he was ever afraid he would lose Jacqueline. But  Jacqueline proved she was wife material when she became his rock and stuck by him through it all. Wiping away the tears, Dan spoke lovingly of her and how her support had helped him cope during the worst time of his life.

‘More than anything, I’m sorry to Jacqueline. She’s put up with so much but supported me through everything. I’ll spend the rest of my life making it up to her,’ Dan told me.

And despite going through so much already, it seems it’s only made this loved-up pair even stronger. Young, rich, hot and successful, this celebrity couple already had it all, but it goes to prove just how solid they are as a couple knowing that they can ride the rough with the smooth and stick by each other even through the hardest times. Now they’re engaged to be married, Dan, and his beautiful new fiancé Jacqueline, have the world at their feet. Some people spend a lifetime looking for love and never find it, but the most wonderful thing of all is that this isn’t some ridiculous showmance, not only are they both truly besotted and devoted to each other, I know they both know exactly how lucky they are and now they have only have a lifetime of happiness to look forward to.

To celebrate Father's Day, ex-TOWIE star Dan Osborne pens an open letter to his children Teddy, 17 months, and three-month old Ella

Dear Teddy & Ella,

Everyone knows how much you mean to me. It’s more than I can ever explain. You’re absolutely everything to me ­ you’re my world. I couldn’t imagine my life without you. Even when I’m not with you, I’m always thinking of you or looking at photos of you.

Some people think that just because I’m 23 I’m too young to have children, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’d always choose to sit indoors with you both than do absolutely anything else.

From the moment I open my eyes, you’re the first thing I think about. I jump out of bed because I can’t wait to see you. I’ll go and get you from your cots and bring you into my bed and we’ll lie there together and go back to sleep. You never fail to put a smile on my face ­ even if I’m having a bad day, you make everything good.

Teddy, you’re not always with us and it’s really hard for me to be without you, but we have three days a week together. When I have to take you home to your mum’s, it’s the worst feeling in the world. I have to go to the gym just to take my mind off it. When you call me ‘Dad’ it’s so amazing especially when I walk out of the room to the go to the toilet and all I can hear is: ‘Daaaaaaad!’

Looking at photos of you helps get me through the days when I can’t be with you. You’re so lucky, Teddy ­ you have two families who love you like crazy ­so you have two birthdays and two Christmases and get double the presents and double the love. It’s hard for me to explain to you now, but when you grow up, I hope you appreciate it was the right thing to do for me not to be with your mum. We weren’t in a good relationship and I didn’t want us to be miserable, so I hope you understand it’s for the best this way.

There’s nothing I want more than to spend every day with you. As I write this, I’m in Greece on holiday with Ella and her mum Jacqueline [Jossa]. Ella, you’re so beautiful. It makes my day when I see you smile.

You’re always laughing and it’s so amazing to see you so happy. It’d be perfect if you were here too, Teddy, but next year we’ll all go on a big family holiday together, I promise.

When I see you both together it’s beautiful. You’re so cute. A while ago I feared you might never meet each other and it was heartbreaking, so I know how lucky I am that you get to spend as much time together as possible.

Teddy, you’re going to be such a protective older brother. When Ella cries, you always pop her dummy back into her mouth and when she’s sitting down, you’re always holding her hands and pushing your face into her belly to make her laugh.

You never call her ‘Ella’ ­ you just call her ‘Aww’. It’s so cute. When we’re on the way home in the car you keep saying ‘Aww’ because you get excited knowing you’re going to see her.

All I want in my life is for you both to be happy. My heart would be broken if I ever saw either of you upset, so I’ll do all I can to give you everything you want ­ and I will bring you up the best I can.

I know you’ll make mistakes in life, but I’ll try my best to guide you so you don’t make the same mistakes as me. I want to teach you what you should and shouldn’t do. I want you to have good manners, be nice to people and always be polite. Whatever you want to do in your life, I’ll always support you.

I wasn’t a bad lad at school but I want you to do better than me. I don’t want you to be rude or have attitude ­ I just want you to be the best you can be. Most importantly, I want you to appreciate things, especially all your mum and I do for you.

Everything we do is for you. I really hope that whenever you think: ‘I wonder what to do?’ you ask me. I want to be the first person you come to.

When I look back two years and think of my life without you it’s awful. You’re the best things that ever happened to me ­ you’ve changed my whole life.

I’ll let you both grow up a bit and maybe we’ll have more brothers and sisters for you. I’d love to give you at least two more ­ but if I could have more children who are as amazing as you, I’d have 100 of them.

The couple, who’ve been dating for two years and now they’re set to get married next year! Now Dan, 23, has exclusively spoken to Now about how he knew he’d found the love of his life in Jacqueline, 22 and all the romantic details about the proposal on their first family holiday in Greece…

‘I knew I would marry Jacqueline after a week of knowing her,’ admitted loved-up Dan, who got down on bended knee in front of 40 of Jacqueline’s family and friends. ‘We’ve always got on so well and we’ve been close for a long time now. Every time I kiss her it’s as nice as the first time. Some people get bored after a while but with Jacqueline I feel lucky every day. I don’t ever get used to her ­ it feels amazing.’

The happy couple, who have been inseparable since they met in 2013, moved in together this year and have recently welcomed their first child together, three-month-old Ella, but Dan reveals that the secret to their happy relationship is telling each other ‘I love you’ every day.

‘We’re best friends who live together, love each other and are really attracted to each other. We tell each other we love each other at least 30 times a day and I’m not exaggerating,’ laughs Dan. ‘We have the same sense of humour, we have a beautiful daughter together, she’s an amazing mum, an amazing friend. She’s all I ever wanted.’

And Dan and Jacqueline are already making plans for a romantic summer wedding next year, in fact they can’t wait to tie the knot so much that they started making preparations on the plane the day after they got engaged!

Jacqueline Jossa only gave birth to daughter Ella three months ago, but already the EastEnders actress has regained her perfect size 10 figure. The 22-year-old star showed off her bikini body while her and her new fiancé Dan Osborne – who popped the question during their trip – were recently on holiday in Greece.

As well as getting engaged during their first holiday with daughter Ella, the couple also celebrated Jaqueline’s sister’s wedding where the actress was a bridesmaid.

Now caught up with Dan to get all the goss on their engagement and to find out how Jacqueline got her post-baby body…

Dan, Jacqueline looks amazing!
I know. She doesn’t see it and she doesn’t know how great she looks, but I tell her every single day.

What’s her secret?
Her body just went back to the size she was before she was pregnant. She hasn’t been working hard to get it back.

Has she been going to the gym, though?
She started swimming a few weeks ago but it’s really hard when she’s looking after the baby to get into a fixed routine.

Is she on a diet?
No. She eats the same as always. We’re having a curry tonight!

Is she happy with how she looks or would she like to lose more weight?
Jacqueline doesn’t care if she’s in shape or not and she doesn’t care what other people think of her body or whether she’s fit or not. She says she only cares if I say she looks incredible. She knows she’s just had a baby and it’s not been a priority for her to lose weight. She’s told me that now she’s getting married, she needs to properly get into the gym to look her best on the wedding day.

The ring, the smiles and the kisses - Dan Osborne shares his proposal pics with Jacqueline Jossa

In case you didn’t know, Dan Osborne is one romantic guy. Not only did he pop the question to girlfriend Jacqueline Jossa two weeks ago but he also got her family, their daughter, Ella, a boat and a banner involved! Yes, really!

And the happy couple have let us in on the exciting action by sharing their gorgeous engagement pictures exclusively with Now.

We were also lucky enough to catch up with Dan soon after he’d popped the big question and guess what? He was pretty excited!

‘I’m so happy. It was unbelievable,’ he said. ‘We had such a brilliant holiday. The whole family were out in Greece for Jacqueline’s sister Katrina’s wedding, which was wonderful. And then what a way to end it!’

So, ‘How did he propose?’ we hear you ask. Well..

‘I wanted to do it in front of Jacqui’s friends and family because I know how much they mean to her,’ Dan told Now.  ‘I needed to get everyone into the lobby at the same time to see the proposal, so Katrina pretended the owner of the hotel had invited everyone for drinks.

‘There was a balcony that overlooked the sea so we stood there drinking champagne. I had a huge banner made with ‘Will you marry me?’ written across it, which had been attached to a sailing boat owned by the hotel.The boat was waiting out of sight until I gave the hotel manager the thumbs-up.

‘I told Katrina to ask for a group picture so that everyone had their backs to the water, so they couldn’t see the boat coming closer and closer, and then Katrina had to pass the ring behind her back to me. I said: ‘Oh, look at that boat,’ and when Jacqueline turned around, I was down on one knee with the ring. Jacqueline didn’t realise the boat was for her. She said when she first saw it, she just thought: ‘That’s nice.’

‘I started to laugh nervously ­when I’m nervous I do this silly humming laugh and only Jacqueline knows it,’ Dan continued. ‘She was so confused until she heard my laugh. She covered her face with her hands ­ she couldn’t believe it. She kept saying: ‘Oh my God, is this really happening?’ She was really confused how it was possible for me to keep it all so secret from her, as she’s so good at sussing things out. My knee was hurting so much! We stood cuddling for about five minutes after that.’

Dean, who played one of the best-loved EastEnders characters of all time – market sweeper Robbie Jackson with his pet dog Wellard – left the show in 2004 after eleven years and then returned for a short stint in 2010 when he walked his sister Bianca (Patsy Palmer) down the aisle, before returning to India after his wife Nita fell pregnant. Now Dean’s set to make another big return later this year as part of his on-screen mum, Carol, played by Lindsey Coulson’s, exit storyline, but scriptwriters are keeping the scenes a big secret.

Dean says: “I am honoured that Dominic and all at EastEnders have decided to open the door and find out where Robbie’s been and what he’s been up to.”

In real life, Dean revealed in 2012 that he had applied for a job at M15 as a mobile surveillance officer.

‘I love spy films and the whole James Bond thing and I’ve got an inquiring mind, so I thought I’d give it a go,’ Dean told The Sun. ‘MI5 put out an advert looking for people and I thought “How hard can it be?”. Most spies spend their lives pretending to be people who they’re not. I do that for a living.’

He appeared in panto and won the hearts of the nation all over again on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. Fans will remember the hilarious moment he was not well hard on his bush tucker trial when he was left terrified of the jungle grub.

These days Dean is mistaken on a daily basis for the world’s richest male supermodel, David Gandy.

‘Not a day goes by when someone doesn’t compare us’, he said. ‘It’ll be interesting to meet him. I know he’s done various talk shows, like Alan Carr and Graham Norton, and they’ve said to him, “You know you do look like Dean Gaffney”, and he smiled. ‘He must get it as much as I must get it. I’m not sure which one of us is offended.’

Recently he’s been tipped as the latest rumoured celebrity to be entering the CBB house this summer, alongside TOWIE’s Gemma Collins.

In part two of our engagement special, Dan Osborne admits he's broken all the rules with his 'rock and best friend' Jacqueline Jossa

Last week, Dan Osborne exclusively revealed all the romantic details of his proposal to actress girlfriend Jacqueline Jossa on their first family holiday with four-month-old daughter Ella in Greece. Dan, 23, told how he got down on bended knee in front of a boat with a banner that read ‘Will you marry me?’ with 40 of Jacqueline’s family and friends to witness it.

Now, in the second part of his interview, Dan hits back at those who say marriage and children are too much, too young for him and his new fiancée and reveals how Jacqueline, 22, has changed him for the better.

Dan, what does Jacqueline mean to you?

She’s always been my rock and my best friend. I want her with me all the time. If we have arguments, they’re always really silly and forgotten about in two minutes ­ she just goes: ‘I love you!’ and I go: ‘I love you too, babe!’ [Laughs] She means everything to me. I’m only going to get married once and I want it to be with someone I really want to spend my whole life with. She’s absolutely great with my son Teddy and she’s an amazing person.

Do you ever worry you’re too young to get married?

Some people probably think that, but I’m a family person. I don’t think age matters. If you find the person you want to spend your life with, why wait another 20 years just so you’re old enough? I know I want to be with Jacqueline for the rest of my life and I want to get married young. We’ve
already had a child before marriage, so we might as well break another rule and marry young. We don’t feel too young to get married. I’ve got two children now ­ most 23-year-olds want to go out partying but I’m not into that. When a person is right for you, you just know.

Have your friends from TOWIE sent their congratulations?

Yeah, Ricky [Rayment], Mario [Falcone] and Georgia [Kousoulou] did. [James] Lockie hasn’t been in touch because I think he’s going through some shit at the moment. Last time I spoke to him, he was thinking of proposing to Danielle [Armstrong], but now they’ve split up and he’s moved out of their house.

Will your children Teddy and Ella have roles at the wedding?
Yes, Teddy will be the ring bearer and Ella will be a flower girl. Jacqueline wants eight adults as bridesmaids and three children. She can’t name them yet, just in case any of them change [laughs]!

How would you say Jacqueline’s changed you?

She brings out the good in me. I’m always happy and smiling with her. I feel like that every day that I’m with her.

When you look at her, how do you feel?
So happy, every day. I tell her how beautiful she looks every single morning. She goes: ‘What? How can you say that?’ I prefer her without make-up in her pyjamas ­ I’m like: ‘Aww, there she is.’

You look very happy Amy. Might we be hearing wedding bells soon?!

I’m only 22. I’m a very ‘present’ person, so I live each day as it comes, and enjoy it and at the moment everything is great. I’m very happy!

How did you meet your new boyfriend Rob?

We met in Vegas. It’s so romantic isn’t it? (laughs). We had our first date at the fake Eiffel Tower after a Calvin Harris concert. He’s amazing.

And now you live in California too?!

Yes, it’s a really nice time. I feel like me again… when I first started getting into this media world I felt under pressure from people who told me I needed to do this or that, or they didn’t like the way I dressed. I’m used to being judged because I have done model pageants but when I took my crown and sash off nobody knew who I was and I could get on with my life and I thought that it would be the same but it wasn’t.

How did you cope?

I didn’t cope very well. I had to learn to cope. When I did what I wanted to do I became comfortable in my own skin and got happy again.

Do you think dating Joey Essex put extra pressure on you?

To be honest with you, I felt that whole thing was a really horrible experience because I’d never been used before for publicity. He is a big name and I’d never been in the spotlight like that, so when someone says, ‘Hey let’s be in a fake relationship?!’ And then you’re like ‘No, that’s not what I want,’ I mean, I didn’t even know this kind of thing went on.

What did you say?

I said ‘No, you can take me on a date, I want to get to know you naturally…’ We’d been friends up until then but suddenly he wanted more and I wasn’t immediately good with the idea. I remember them saying, ‘We could be managed as a couple…’ and then when I said ‘No I want to do my own thing,’ he stopped talking to me, just like that.

Were you upset?

It took me a very long time to get over it, because it hurt me so much. I thought he liked me. I spent the whole of Christmas sobbing into my pillow. Looking back I felt so silly to do that – I never let anyone get me down like that again. It should have been a great time for me celebrating as my career had taken a great turn after I’m A Celeb but I was just so upset.

Do you see Joey around?

No. Afterwards he text me saying, ‘Hey do you forgive me?’ and I’m like, ‘Yeah I forgive you, it’s fine, I understand.’ And that’s all. I’d rather stay away as it’s not the kind of career that will make me happy. When you do things like that you start believing the hype and living it and your whole life becomes your career, but when your career is over you’ve ruined your whole life for the sake of being famous and what’s the point?!

How did you meet your new boyfriend Rob?

We met in Vegas. It’s so romantic isn’t it? (laughs). We had our first date at the fake Eiffel Tower after a Calvin Harris concert. He’s amazing.

Was it love at first sight?

We clicked instantly. He shares my zest for life. He’s a cancer survivor, you see, he had bone cancer for two years, so we’re lucky to have him. I’ve always been someone who lives everyday to the max, probably because of my brother Ross – he’s severely disabled and growing up with him made me want to grab every opportunity and go, go, go! Rob’s very appreciative of everything too, he likes to go out and have adventures and so we have a lot of fun together. We are super-happy!

And now you live in California too?!

Yes, it’s a really nice time. I feel like me again… when I first started getting into this media world I felt under pressure from people who told me I needed to do this or that, or they didn’t like the way I dressed. TOWIE's Vas Morgan reveals to Now that he has considered refusing to be in the finale of this series of TOWIE...

Vas Morgan is arguably TOWIE’s most stylish male, hanging out at the hottest celeb haunts and frequently schmoozing with a cool bunch of A-list pals, including The X Factor’s Rita Ora, Lindsay Lohan and Taylor Swift, but it looks like the cast of TOWIE are now firmly OFF his Christmas card list this year.

Vas – real name Savvas Morgan – who joined the show last year, has exclusively revealed to us that the claws have been out so much he is dreading filming the final show of the series and has considered refusing to be in it.

‘It’s been the darkest series of TOWIE yet, it’s been horrible… there hasn’t been much fun and everybody hates each other – the whole of Essex hates us!’ admits Vas, talking about his spat with Gemma Collins a couple of weeks ago and most recently, when the rest of the TOWIE’s ladies turned on his good friends, new girl Verity Chapman and Lauren Pope.

‘The producers hope everyone will make up and be friends again at the end but it’s not going to happen. Gemma Collins has been a complete bitch, and the other girls have been so vile to Verity and Lauren, but it’s only because they’re so jealous because they’re so beautiful. We’re just real people… I’m not sitting at home waiting for the next series of TOWIE to start filming like them, as soon as this finishes I’m off doing my thing!’

The cast film the last episode of the series this week, but we’ll have to tune in to see if Vas will take part or not…

Meanwhile, the fashion blogger can’t wait to support his close friend, Rita Ora, when she makes her debut as a judge on The X Factor next month.

‘I’ll be down at the show every week to support her and I can’t wait,’ says Vas. ‘Rita’s loving it – she’s become really good friends with Cheryl and they get along really well, she’s going to kill it as a judge on the show and knock everyone out with her outfits!’

We can’t wait!

Pink hair and Cheryl as her BFF – Kimberley isn’t your average mum. Here, she talks to Now about how her life’s changed since having baby Bobby

She gave birth nine months ago to her first child, son Bobby, with her partner of more than 10 years Justin Scott, 32, and since then life’s been completely different for former Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh. Nowadays it’s all about dirty nappies and nights in front of the TV watching her best friend Cheryl Fernandez-Versini on The X Factor rather than hitting the dancefloor at star-studded showbiz parties – but Kimberley’s loving every moment.

‘I definitely want more children. I won’t put a number on it, but we just want to make the family bigger and bigger,’ she tells us. Here, Kimberley, 33, who’s also stepmum to Justin’s daughter Chloe, 16, reveals all about family life, why BFF Cheryl won’t be babysitting and her thoughts on the new X Factor judging panel…

Kimberley, how has your life changed since you became a mum?

It changes everything really because your whole life is about looking after one person. Everything else that you’d normally do comes second to that. I think I’ve adjusted really well. I love it!

Has being a mum changed you personally?

I don’t think it’s changed me in a huge way. I think it’s kind of broken me down a little bit. I was a little bit tougher and it’s softened me a little bit. Maybe I’m a little bit more emotional. That’s what happens – they break you down because you love them so much. It can kind of bring that out of you.

What does becoming a mum mean to you?

I just can’t imagine life without Bobby. Justin says that to me a lot – he’s like: ‘I don’t know what we did when he wasn’t here.’ It’s like everything you do is about them. I’ve always been a family person – I come from a big family myself. My brothers, sisters and I spend a lot of time together and we’re really close. It’s nice that I’ve got Bobby and two nephews who all like to play together. So they’ve got
each other and we just want to keep making the family bigger and bigger!

How many children would you like, do you think?

I’m not going to put a number on it now – when you’re young you say you want this and you want that, but you’ve kind of got to let life take its course and see how it turns out. But I do definitely want more.

You’re in your early thirties now – did you ever feel pressured to have children earlier?

No, it’s a personal thing. You know yourself when it’s the right time. It is not something you should force on someone just because society says you should. It should be a natural thing that two people want to do and you just do it.

Were you broody before now?

I’ve always been broody. I was broody when I was 15! I was lucky because I had nephews and I could enjoy looking after them then handing them back.

Your best friend Cheryl has started filming for the next series of The X Factor panel. Has she babysat for you?

I think all hopes of babysitting have gone now that she’s back on The X Factor! She’s been able to come and see Bobby a lot recently, which is nice. Then we’ll have to go down to hers when she starts on the show because I know how hectic she is. Last year she was like: ‘Come and see me!’ I was like: ‘I’m too tired and pregnant
– it’s not going to happen.’ I didn’t even make it to the show [laughs].

Do you think Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora will make good judges?

Obviously we know what to expect with Rita because we’ve seen her on The Voice. I think it’s great that she and Cheryl are different characters but they get along well. And I’m quite excited about Nick because it’s a different angle – coming from radio and bringing a non-performer’s perspective is a totally new thing.

Are you friends with Nick?

I’ve met him a few times and worked with him over the years.
I really like him and find him warm, easy to get on with, funny and witty. Hopefully, that’s what we’ll see of him and the public will fall in love with him.

He’s faced a lot of criticism, though – is that unfair?

He’s a bit like Marmite – people love or hate him. Maybe they’re not giving him a chance because they haven’t seen him on TV much. I think he’ll be a good judge.

Like accepting his recent marriage proposal wasn’t symbol enough of her commitment to their relationship, Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson has tattooed new fiancé Ricky Rayment’s initial on her arm a month after he had an ‘M.’

Because clearly love isn’t love unless you say it with some matching ink, right guys?!

The loved-up couple announced their engagement two weeks ago following a whirlwind six month relationship after enjoying a cheeky kiss for the first time at The National Television Awards in January.

Ricky posted a picture of his tattoo, a small letter M with a small heart, on his Snapchat in June, but so far Marnie has yet to reveal her Ricky inspired tattoo.

The lovebirds expressed a plan to get each others names tattooed when interviewed by Now back in April. During our exclusive chat Ricky said, ‘We’ve spoken about it.’ And it now it proves they’re both people who stick to their word!

Before getting together with Marnie, Ricky split from his TOWIE ex Jessica Wright after more than two and a half years together in October 2014.

Meanwhile Marnie was dating Dan Sloane in late 2014 but the relationship cames to an end a few months later.

A coy Marnie Simpson played down her kiss with her future fiance at the time, saying: ‘Ricky Rayment and I kissed goodbye leaving a party in London. I’m single and a kissed a boy goodbye. Big deal!’

But the duo quickly become inseparable. By early February they start popping up in each other’s social media snaps and made it clear that they were an item when they stepped out holding hands.

Ricky announced in May that he was leaving TOWIE and it sparked speculation that he could be about to join his girl on Geordie Shore, something he was quick to deny. But later that month Ricky went into the Geordie Shore house where Marnie was filming and popped the question. Many raised an eyebrow saying that they were moving too fast but the former TOWIE star had ‘never been happier.’

‘I know it’s not #jamtartwednesday but kids wanted to bake!! #messyfun’ Tweeted Sam, who took photos of her chidren and some friends baking in her kitchen at home in Leicester.

Sam, who was a size 18, has been following the Exante Diet and is now a slim size 12. Last week she even wore a bikini for the first time since 2008 showing off her amazing new figure exclusively in Now.

‘I was very confident on The X Factor, but since having a baby this is the best I’ve been. I’ve put my old size 18 clothes in the bin!’ Sam told us. ‘I’ve been following the Exante Diet, which switches your body into a state of ketosis. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get used to eating better. It’s changed my thoughts about food ­ I’ll have a carvery but no carbs ­ and I’m maintaining my weight with exercise. It’s about balance. If I can do this, anyone can. Stick to it, you’ll see the results.’

She even admitted her ‘sex life has rocketed’ and her husband Craig can’t keep his hands off her! ‘To be honest, we’ve been living in the air. When we went to Barbados in July, it was like having a second honeymoon.

‘When Craig saw some new pics of me, he texted me: ‘You look really hot!’ I replied: ‘Guess who you’re taking out for a carvery tonight?!’ That’s the banter, I don’t send messages, like: ‘I’m going to get naked for you.’ I’ve never sent a pic of my baps to him!’

On screen she turned vicious, throwing drinks over her best friend Bobby Norris before quitting the show. Off screen, things were even worse. Towie’s Gemma Collins has become trapped in a series of toxic relationships with 
‘bad men’, all the time putting on weight, finally settling at a size 22.

Now, as we meet up with her Gemma says: ‘I lost myself. I didn’t know who I was any more.’

Thankfully, she took control and lost 3st with help from the Juice Master Jason Vale. ‘It’s the best thing I ever did,’ she tells Now. ‘I know myself and I’ve found my self-respect again. I’m confident on the outside and inside too. So don’t call me GC any more – I’m happy being just Gemma. My love affair with food is over!’

Hi Gemma, tell us how much weight have you lost?
Three stone and I’ve dropped two dress sizes so far. I’ve gone from 18st 6lb to 15st 6lb. My goal is to be a size 14, but I’d like to lose another 2st and be a size 16 by Christmas. And I will do it.

What’s made you so determined?
It got to a point where I thought: ‘This isn’t going to go away. I’ve got to do something about it.’ I felt knackered all the time. It was horrible. I knew I had to change, but I could only do it if I got away for a while and sorted myself out.

What sort of person did you become?
Crazy Gemma off the TV.

Ah, you mean GC?
I’ve not killed her off – there’ll always be some GC in me – but I’ve calmed her down. It was an outrageous character I developed due to how I was feeling at the time. She was very bold and brash. I don’t want people to call me GC any more. It reminds me of that old person.

So how did you lose the weight?
I was hypnotised by a man called Robert Hisee and that gave me a boost, so I was eating a lot less. Then I went to Jason Vale’s Juicy Oasis in Portugal for four weeks. I was on my own and didn’t know anyone. Every week I could feel myself getting stronger and more confident. It was the best thing I ever did. No money in the world can repay Jason for what he did.

How do you feel now?
I love life. Before, I’d think: ‘I can’t start the day without a bloody bacon sandwich and a couple of Bourbon biscuits!’ The inner confidence it’s given me is amazing. When people say beauty is within, it’s true. You could have the most expensive bag and shoes, but if you feel like shit inside it’ll show. This was like rehab 
for me.

How did you cope just drinking juice for four weeks?
When I got there I was knackered. I slept for about two days and on the fifth day I thought: ‘This is really mad. I’m not hungry, what’s going on?’ It wasn’t difficult. I said to Jason: ‘Are you putting stuff in these drinks?’ [Laughs]

What did you do every day?
I had a 6.30am yoga class and went for two-hour walks. Everything is optional, but it must be a psychology thing because when you don’t have to do it, you want to. You have four juices a day and every morning you have a ginger or wheatgrass shot. I had a juice at 10am, 1pm, 4.30pm and 8pm and that’s it. Jason taught me: ‘You’ll never get fat from eating fruit or veg.’

What were you eating before?
Sausage baguettes or a bacon sandwich for breakfast. Zizzi’s pasta with bread and olive oil for lunch. I loved two apple cream turnovers. And steak and kidney pie with mash. I’d drink 10 cans of Diet Coke a day too.

What was your lowest moment?
On the last series of TOWIE I’d been through a really rough time with my ex. I didn’t want to leave the apartment in Marbella to go filming because of the paps – they wanted to take a horrible photo of me. I couldn’t even eat if they were there. It became a living hell – I could never relax.

So new body, new man?
This will be the year I finally meet someone and I’ll have a baby sometime soon. Looking back, I can’t believe I said: ‘I’m desperate to meet a geezer.’ I don’t want no geezer. I want a gentleman.

So is there a man in your life?
I’ve got my eye on someone. He’s absolutely gorgeous! An Essex lad with long blond hair. I met him in a bar a while ago, but I was always really drunk. He’d throw me in the back of his truck and drop me home. He asked for my number last week and we’ve been texting. I met another guy last week in Liverpool who wants to buy me a Range Rover – it’s all happening! I’m finally meeting people who are worthy of me and don’t just want to come to my house for a shag. They want to date me!

A new children’s book written by One Direction and a host of their A-list celebrity friends is set to pull in millions for BBC Children in Need next week

For the first time ever, some of the most famous names in music, sport and showbiz have got together to write a one-of-a-kind story for the charity. And we’ve got a sneak preview for you here

The Curious Tale of Fi-Rex, the enchanting story of a little girl who is half-human half-­dinosaur, has been penned by 25 celebrities including One Direction, Denise van Outen, Kylie Minogue, Rod Stewart, Penny Lancaster and Coleen and Wayne Rooney. 

Each celeb was asked to write one page but they were only allowed to see the last line of the previous page. The results were hilarious and saw each star taking Fi Rex on a roller coaster of a ride through their imaginations.

Every one of the famous authors leaves an imprint of their personality on the page, sometimes without them even knowing it.

Kate Moss said: “I adored doing a children’s book, it was something completely different to anything I have done before.”

Mother-of-one Kate, 41, teamed up to write her page with her friends, X Factor judge Nick Grimshaw and socialite and star of Ladies Of London, Annabelle Nielson.

Kate added: ” It was cool being part of a story with people such as Sir Paul, Harry, Annabelle and Grimmers. Mine was only a section but I could have quite happily written the whole thing. I wrote it late at night sat at home and got carried away with it actually.”

Her pal Nick said: ‘People are saying I’m the new J K Rowling or Oldham’s very own Shakespeare!’

One Direction have just finished touring but managed to take the time whilst writing their new album, to create their chapter of the story. They team up with Sir Paul McCartney who resurrects the famous Frog Chorus characters from his 1983 hit We All Stand Together, while the 1D boys appear as a frog band – called Pond Direction.

Speaking about the group’s involvement, Niall Horan said: ‘Children In Need is such an amazing charity, so we were really happy to get involved in this book. We hope our fans enjoy reading about our adventures as a band of frogs called Pond Direction.’

Bringing the wacky yarn to life is renowned artist Julia Patton, who is known for some of the country’s best loved illustrations and came up with her drawings in a rustic woodshed in the middle of field in Northumberland.

Thousands of pounds were recently raised in a Bonhams auction of the stars’ pages at The Library, London, and now people can bid for signed copies ­themselves at fi-rex.auctionlots.co.uk

The X Factor finalists Reggie 'N' Bollie talk exclusively to Now about their incredible journey...

Has it surprised you just how much people love you?

R: We didn’t expect this much love from the public. We’re not doing anything extraordinary but people connect with us. We’ve got haters, too, but we laugh about it.

Has it changed your life?

B: Months back, we were struggling. Now, when we step out, people recognise us and they love us for what we’re doing.

R: Just normal school runs with our kids have changed into autograph-signing days.

Has it been difficult being apart from your kids for so long?

R: It has… Yesterday, when I was leaving, my kids were crying because they want to be with their father but we need to better our families’ lives.

B: They miss us so much. When I leave, they go: ‘How many more weeks left, Daddy?’ We’re doing this for them.

Has Cheryl been a good mentor?

R: She’s amazing. When you see her on TV, you know she’s nice but when you have that one-to-one she’s even nicer. She’s so kind…and incredibly beautiful!

R: Yes. God created her on a Sunday afternoon after he’d rested! He made sure the angels were checking every detail. A lot with people are very concerned that she looks too thin. Do you feel sorry for her?

R: Cheryl taught us: ‘Don’t pay attention to any negativity,’ so we don’t. She’s a beautiful person and when people complain or say stuff it’s their own opinion.

B: We only feed on positive vibes – we don’t feed on negativity. We don’t pay attention.

Have you got any plans for Christmas yet?

R: Just a nice Christmas for our family and friends – the people who’ve been there along our whole journey. They were there for us when we had nothing.

Are you looking forward to the X Factor tour?

R: Yes. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We’ve seen how this show has made great artists like One Direction and Leona Lewis, and we can be great, too.

What will you spend your first pay cheque on?

R: We’ll donate at least 10 per cent of it to a children’s charity close to us. We’ve always said that’s what we’d do, wherever our first pay cheque came from.

So, how’s it been for you, Che?

It’s been the best experience of my life. But there have been some hard times, too, like being in the bottom two for the first time. I was so down and I couldn’t pick myself back up. I didn’t think my performance was bad enough to be there. I also forgot my words a couple of weeks ago, so there’s been a lot of pressure.

What’s been the best bit?

The first week. I was happy and I was having fun. It was first time I’d ever worn a suit and I felt very comfortable.

We’re sure you have an incredible career ahead. What will you spend your millions on?!

I don’t know! One Direction and Ella Henderson didn’t win, so there are still dreams to be made without winning.

Who would you like to collaborate with in the future?

Stevie Wonder. I don’t think it will happen but I can only pray.

Are you excited for Christmas?

I haven’t even thought about it… I hope to be partying. I don’t really drink but I think this competition’s driven me to that!

Ha! What’s your tipple?

Not beer – I hate it. I like an amaretto and coke.

Are you looking forward to the X Factor tour?

I can’t wait. Mason Noise and Seann Miley Moore will be back and I’m going to love every minute of it. Before this, I was working at Tesco and I think it’s amazing that people love what I do. It’s mind-blowing!

What’s Nick Grimshaw been like as a mentor?

He’s the best. He’s been so hands-on. At first I wasn’t sure about him, but as soon as we got to judges’ houses, I knew he was perfect for the job. He turns up to everything and I can text him whenever I want to talk.

At least he’ll always play your music on Radio 1!

Yes! That’s a massive bonus. Can you imagine me playing at Kate Moss’s birthday?

Would you like Nick to find a nice boyfriend?

Yeah – me! He’d make the best boyfriend. [Laughs]

What would your girlfriend [Meg Hanley] say! How is she?

She’s still trying to get used to all this. It’s hard for her. I get bad comments on Twitter, but she does, too, and it’s horrible. Take the piss out of me, but not my girlfriend.

Was that upsetting?

Of course. She’s very sensitive, which makes it 10 times worse. It’s going to be much harder for her but we’ll do it. I’m doing all this for her and my family.

What’s your dream after the show ends?

I want to be so successful that my family wouldn’t have to work at all. I’d like to buy them a house – that would be the ultimate dream!
